Gardening through Art is a seasonal course for creative guides. The strategies I have developed help artists expand practical imagination. After each session participants feel more refreshed. Their passion for art is reignited. Artists of all levels are invited to explore creative skills and build a portfolio that can be used as a source of income for themselves and their families. Participants build templates for independent design and leading classes for all ages. Many graduates teach creative classes and sell their art.
Group Coaching sessions are Mondays (excluding holidays) 11 a.m. - noon PST.
Within our time together we will focus on:
A Seasonal Course Opportunity!
Do you ever feel like you are:
Q: For whom is this program?
A: This program is for creative guides who would like to feel prolific. Artists/Instructors of all experience levels can connect with nature, share discoveries, and invite others to try.
Q: How do I begin?
A: Printing and folding the Joyful Plant Planner can guide your weeks for Gardening Through Art exploration.
Q: What shall I expect with this program?
A: Participants feel more centered, engage with their gardens, and make more art. Their art creates a portfolio for independent design, income, and sharing Gardening Through Art with others:
- On Mondays we have a group plant observation.
- A seasonally rotating learner's kit includes: water bottle, clippers, planner, reference books, portable office, watercolor/printmaking supplies, yoga mat, hat/sunscreen, sunglasses, a small dictionary/thesaurus, Spanish dictionary, sketch-noting reference book, lunch box, garden boots, money belt, and a cotton "Turkish-towel." Water shoes and garden tools are optional.
This is how we prepare the outdoor classroom.
